Interactive fashion show

In a team of 7 | April 2019 | 5 days (workshop)

Brief

Design an interactive fashion show using video mapping and Arduino, in groups mixing interaction design and scenography students.

Process

We were assigned the brand Undercover, and decided to design the show for the Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

The goal of the project was to denounce women's place in Japanese society. We divided our production into three sequences: tradition, rebellion, and liberation.

We created a model of a building in foam-core, then added servo motors controlled with Arduino to move our model during the show. I took care of assembling the video mapping using Millumin, implementing the Arduino technology, and contributing to visual effects using After Effect.

I enjoyed working with various techniques within a team of different backgrounds.
